Kathy is the most understanding person. If you have a problem, she is more than willing to listen. If she sees something is amiss in the room, she will jump right in and fix it. She cares about me (the patient and friend). She is on your side - a big factor in nursing home living and she makes sure you have what you need and doesn't say, "So and so should have done that."
All of the residents can count on Kathy. If she says she'll find out about something she'll come back and tell you what you wanted to know. So many say, "We will see what's going on," but never come back and tell you; most upsetting. She always follows through with whatever she's doing. She can pride herself for being a good role model to all of the A. O. Fox family of workers.
After my younger brother died of cancer, Kathy helped me accept this and talked to me about depression. Kathy continues to go above and beyond for her residents no matter how busy or crazy things get. She genuinely cares and respects every resident and co-worker.
