I would like to thank my nurse and share my story of why this nurse is so special. I went into v-tach at least 20 times, and Ken even got shocked by my pacemaker, and he still was calm and compassionate. When I was finally stabilized he kept coming in and checking on me to see how I was feeling. I felt he was attentive and caring. Even when he was getting ready to go home, he came in to say "good-night" and check on me. It made me feel like it wasn't just a job like he actually cares about his patients.

Ken is one of the sweetest nurse's we have ever encountered when working with my dad. Ken and a few other nurses had to work on my dad for about two hours straight because he kept going into v-tach. He did not give up on my dad, and he made us feel very comfortable when we got here. Even during shift change before he went home he came in and said: "wow, you are one of the strongest men I've ever met, and I would fight that hard again for you a million times." As a family, it is so great to know there are RNs here who truly care about their patients and don't view them as a job. If we ever need to come back, I pray Ken is working when we are here.
