I overheard Kim-Ly Mobley caring for an elderly patient with a severe communication disability. This patient was alone in the emergency room with no family to speak for him. Kim-Ly demonstrated such remarkable kindness and compassion to this patient, it took my breath away. She continued to advocate for this patient throughout his entire stay in the emergency room. She coached each doctor that provided care at the bedside and instructed all care givers how to communicate with this patient via his iPad. Because of this nurse's compassionate commitment, this patient received the highest level of care and was treated with dignity and respect. Kim-Ly was an outstanding role model and the kindness shown made all the difference in this patient's care. She made my heart smile. I can't say enough. She was extraordinary.
