Kyle is an excellent RN who is a great team player with incredible critical thinking skills. In this particular example, which there are many similar examples, Kyle arrived for his shift 30 minutes early. The department was very busy and we were finding our day getting tighter as another sick patient was arriving in the unit. I asked Kyle if he would be willing to start his shift early and take the new patient. Kyle just jumped right in and grasped the situation and took over the care of the patient. Within a few hours with Kyle's excellent skills, he was able to stabilize the patient and put the family at east. Kyle is a very adaptable as a nurse. He exemplifies excellent nursing skills and practices. He portrays excellent interpersonal skills with all his patients, their family and with the healthcare team. Most of all Kyle is fun to work alongside, a true role model of a nurse
