Leo is the most cheerful happy nurse in the NICU. He makes it so much easier to get through such a sad and stressful time. There have been times I had to walk away when other nurses have been in my baby’s room because I was so upset that they didn’t listen to what I had to say. Leo gave me his opinion but also listened to mine. I could just really tell he cared what I had to say and he let me make some decisions with my baby’s care. Not to mention that all his tricks in dealing with my baby have worked out the best. Leo is very good at what he does and has been the nurse that has taught my husband and me how to get our baby to eat.

Leo is so willing to teach us and help us without being pushy at all. I cry everyday when I’m in the NICU and today was the first day I had a smile on my face and wasn’t upset and it is the first night I am staying all night and it’s because of Leo. He definitely makes me feel more comfortable staying here as I have anxiety issues and I’m really nervous around most of the nurses and doctors. I’m afraid to ask or talk to them but he makes it very easy to ask questions and comes often to check on me and to see if I need his help.
