Saint Luke’s East Hospital honors Lindsay Hartley, Registered Nurse III on the Mother/Baby unit, as the 2nd Quarter DAISY Award honoree for her extraordinary nursing care. Lindsay is frequently nominated by her patients for her commitment to exceeding their expectations during the delivery of their newborn. Her peers often comment how impressed they are with how very kind and caring Lindsay is to all of the patients and how easily she develops rapport with them. Lindsay’s willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty for her families is what her patients remember most about their experience. She is also valued as a leader on the unit that is always willing to help her coworkers. Her strong clinical skills provide her the tools to be an effective mentor and resource to other staff.
