Lisa Collins is the perfect nurse. Thank you so much for all your help, for your caring service, for your happy, smiling face, and for all the fun you were for us when times were a little tough. All nurses should watch her in action.

...

Lisa has been so helpful. She has been a bright shining light in an otherwise life changing ordeal. My husband has never been hospitalized in his life (he'll be 60 this week). This came as an admission from the ER. After an all-night stay in the ER he was exhausted. Lisa was his day-shift nurse. She was efficient, helpful, joyful, putting up with his weird jokes and giving him excellent care, plus putting a smile on his face.

She is compassionate, caring, and an awesome lady.

I have cancer. Sunday morning I woke up in tears in the hospital thinking about my illness. I just couldn't stop crying. Lisa came in and asked me what was going on. I told her, and she began telling me that I was going to be taken care of and that she knew that things were going to be hard at times, but I still had my faith. She asked me if I would like to talk to the chaplain, and I said yes. She contacted him, and he came right up. We prayed together and I felt God. Lisa was so caring and compassionate to me all the days she took care of me!! We need all nurses to be like her. She is a shining example!!

Later I was in so much pain and I still had to wait for my next dose of pain medications. She told me just to hold on; we don't have much longer to go. She was soft talking and took my mind off the pain with her soft and gentle touch and voice she even helped take me and had me take a hot sits bath and washed my hair to make the time go faster. She is great, not as just a nurse but she becomes a friend also. She made my stay at the hospital as pleasant as she could. I will never forget the love and care she has for her patients. If I ever had to have to be in the hospital, I would want Lisa Collins to take care of me.
