After knee surgery Lottie was a totally caring professional. She never entered the room without a smile on her face. In addition to providing excellent medical care, she always asked what else she could do for me. I never felt like an imposition. In addition, Lottie has a great sense of humor...and makes every conversation enjoyable.

I don't have a long story, just that she took the time to sit down and talk or just to listen. She made me comfortable here. Nominated by: Mr. Mason

It seems like Lottie was there when I needed her. She had to clean up my messes around the toilet. She made me feel comfortable. Nominated by: Mr. Spencer

She seemed sincerely interested in how I felt and making sure that all my questions were answered. She related as a human being not just another patient.

A knee replacement is a very painful experience. Lottie not only provided excellent care but also went above and beyond to talk with me when I became emotional and had a very hard time working through my physical therapy. I had a roommate that was a little hard to deal with, but Lottie would come and walk with me and talk and let me vent. She also got me to laugh and set myself in a positive direction. It sounds simple, but there really are not words to describe someone who can show empathy and help someone to laugh and regroup. It changed what would have been a very painful stay in the hospital into an experience I could learn from and appreciate. The rooms are small and old and very hard to move around in, but Lottie is able to help me get to my things and stay organized. My extreme thanks to a nurse who can be professional, kind, sympathetic, and humorous and that is while not only taking care of me but other patients, also. Thank you Lottie, from the bottom of my heart.
