My boyfriend has been here at BSA as a patient for almost a month now. He was diagnosed with viral meningitis. He lost almost all mobility and has encountered multiple challenges along the way. He is now on his way to recovery and being moved to rehab soon to retrain his body and learn how to walk again. The staff at BSA has been phenomenal. The PTA's have been amazing with his physical therapy sessions and beginning the road to his recovery.
I want to recognize a nurse in particular and nominate her for the DAISY Award- Marda in the Intermediate Care Unit. We have been so impressed with every aspect of her care. She always has a smile on her face. Not once did she hesitate to help him. Marda's enthusiasm is just amazing. She has the ability to lift anyone's spirit and effortlessly gives motivation. She is very knowledgeable and skilled. She always explained everything very well and if she didn't have the answer, she didn't hesitate to find the answer. We could not have asked for better nurses.
Marda is the definition of what nursing is all about. Her love for nursing and patient care shows through and through. Marda, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, care, enthusiasm, and everything that you have done for us!
