I was a patient in your ER and then admitted to the Post Critical department. All the nurses, CNAs, and Mercy employees I dealt with were kind and compassionate but one nurse really stood out to me as exceptional. Maria was my nurse in Post-Critical and she was wonderful! She worked diligently to take care of my every need and to anticipate needs I didn't even know I had. She was patient and would explain everything as we went along. Maria is such a kind, compassionate caregiver.
Maria's energy level and hard work were not at all affected by her impending motherhood. She was smiling and energetic at the start of her shift and when she left!
