Marianne can work in the OR, PACU, ASU, Med-Surg, and SCU, and she does so quite willingly. She is always willing to switch her time and to take call when needed. She is friendly and easy-going, and is respected by her peers and providers who work with her. Patients can sense her calm, compassionate and empathetic nature, and she can sense each patient's needs.

There was a patient who felt anxious with a certain procedure, and Marianne felt that the patient would do better in a quiet, subdued environment. She provided this for the patient, and actually encouraged the family members to stay with the patient in PACU. This is a unique situation that demonstrates Marianne Foster's supportive and individualized care that she gives every day.
