Marilyn always keeps a positive attitude and is a role model for the nursing profession. She received a nomination from a patient who felt at ease and cared for due to Marilyn's thoroughness and calming manner.

"She sat with me to explain the process of testing planned for my day. She remained reassuring and empathetic throughout her shift. I did not want Marilyn's shift to end! She was energetic, efficient, calming; welcoming any request I had-even the most simple. With Marilyn at my bedside, I felt I had an advocate to comfort me."
