I was in the MICU at Baptist South for two months with a severe case of ARDS. I would like to recognize the entire MICU staff. I truly feel that without a doubt, they are the reason I am alive today. They are the most wonderful, hardworking, friendly, loving and caring staff I have ever come in contact with. They made my stay so comfortable despite the circumstances and they truly treated me like family. To be as sick as I was (and still am) but to be able to still have faith and hope because of the love these people instilled daily is a blessing.
