Mike Blanchette has been a valuable member of the Heart Failure team for the past 15 years!
Mike's peers nominated him for the DAISY award recognizing him as an outstanding role model. Below are a few of the highlights:
Michael works tirelessly towards the success of the Heart Failure Clinic. Though faced with a difficult diagnosis, patients are often saying they "love coming" back to him. He is passionate about his work; 100% a team player, and a "Rock Star" in his expertise of the disease.
Mike calls his patients daily to check on them. He is very compassionate and takes extra time with each patient.
Michael has great interactions with his patients and their families. He is always willing to help the Anti-Coagulation Clinic if we need a nurse practitioner to assist when we have a complicated patient. It is always a pleasure to work with Mike!
Mike consistently prioritizes patient care and goes "above and beyond" to provide the absolute best patient care. Just yesterday, he coordinated with a patient's nephrologist to develop a plan of care which was best for the patient. Mike had the patient come in at the end of the day to give the needed IV diuretics. He's the best!
