Paige Pecinka cared for my family member in the ICU after he had multiple seizures. He has a history of Cerebral Palsy in which he needs total care. My family and I are very involved with his care and this nurse took phenomenal care of him, but also adapted to us and his special needs. It was as if she didn't even notice his disabilities and communicated with him as if there was no such thing as CP which really sticks out in my mind. A lot of people treat my brother differently and Paige went above and beyond as if it were not big deal. She let me care for him as well because she knew it made him feel more comfortable which means the world to me. Paige helped us through one of the scariest times in our lives and I will be forever grateful.
