Pam, I was so happy when I received your card in the mail. My husband and I wanted you to know how much you meant to us during (and what ended up being) the last week of our daughter's life. As you know, we spent a lot of time with our daughter while she was in the ICU. You quickly became our favorite nurse and we felt better when she was in your care. You were compassionate and respectful and it did not go unnoticed.

Although I have never been more sad than I am right now, I have peace knowing that she was exactly where she wanted to be when she passed away; at home in her own bed. She looked so peaceful and relaxed. Her little arms were straight down on each side. Her little hands opened. She was finally free. Free from the grips of Cerebral Palsy. It was beautiful to see her like that, even in death. I miss her so much and can only hope time will help ease the pain of losing someone who meant so much to me.

I am glad to have met you; I only wish it could have been under different circumstances. I can never thank you enough for the kindness you showed to me and my family during an extremely difficult time in our lives. You are an awesome person and I want you to know this: YOU made a difference in our lives! Thank you, Pam.

Pam went above and beyond her call of duty. I am alone with a small dog. While in ICU, she picked up my dog and cared for him while I was being treated for five days in recovery. My hat is off to this beautiful lady. Taking the stress off of me. Wonderful nurse and caring individual.
She shows love, concern, answers all questions, is professional and fantastic.
