This was my third return due to complications after surgery. Pat has been my nurse multiple times. She is kind, gentle, sweet, and compassionate. She always made me feel important and respected. Always concerned about pain control, knowing that I have had a lot of difficult situations that cause pain. Every time I returned, even if she was not assigned as my nurse, Pat would always greet me with a genuine love and concern for my well-being. I wanted to say a very big Thank you to Pat for all she did for me during all my stays at Magee Hospital. She is a very Big Blessing to me as my caretaker and friend.

Pat has made my husband's stay very special. She is always very attentive to his needs. She always has a smile on her face and makes him feel special as though he is her only patient no matter how busy she is. Very knowledgeable and professional. She is very thorough with all her instructions.

I had difficulty urinating after my foley was removed. Pat so patiently and with encouragement helped get everything going. She also explained my meds so that I understood. She is so cheerful and optimistic which is vital when you are recovering from surgery.

Pat was very nice. She tried to do just about anything she could. She would explain anything that I would ask and if she did not know the answer, she would go and find out. All and all she is a very nice person. She made me comfortable, safe and hopeful.

I want to honor Pat for her amazing care of me when I had sleeve gastrectomy. She was my nurse and she is the kindest and most helpful nurse I have ever had the pleasure of being cared for by. I was scared about being in the hospital. She has a great way of communicating that is very comforting and motherly. She made me feel like everything was going to be okay. Pat took care of me as a person and an individual and not as a case or a protocol. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and compassion. She is an amazing nurse!
