My husband had to have emergency surgery in November. His condition was critical. He was in your hospital for a few days. During that time, he awoke and realized he had his appendix taken out which ended up being a life-threatening issue that the surgeon discovered after starting the surgery. The blood flow to my husband's colon had been cut off and his colon died and gangrene had set in. We will be forever grateful to the doctor for saving my husband's life and with God guiding his hands.
My husband got really depressed and was convinced he was going to die. Trish gave him a really good "pep" talk which completely turned his thinking around. He became positive about surviving and we know that it was Trish's talk that helped him.
All of our family had talked to him but got nowhere in convincing him he would be okay. Trish even visited him on her day off for another little "pep" talk. He is home now and slowly recovering thanks to God, Dr. C, and Trish and all the caring people at Johnston Memorial. Thank you all.
