A young woman passed away recently on our unit. Her death was unexpected and sudden and the family had an especially hard time grieving and accepting the loss. Rebecca was there for the family the whole time, crying along with them, going as far as attending the funeral. She works night shift and woke up early after being up all night to go to the funeral and then had to come back to work the same night to work another 12-hour shift. She went way above and beyond in her dedication to the patient and family. She extends this same dedication to compassionate care to everyone she meets. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
