During the patient's stay, Rob took the time to listen to the concerns of the patient and the family making sure that their experience was successful. One day, the patient was showing signs of hypovolemia and bleeding. Rob acted on the patient's behalf to explain to the team of physicians what was going on. His quick actions lead to a great learning opportunity for the residents and med students. Without Rob's keen assessment skills and advocacy for the patient, the patient's outcome could have been completely different. Rob ensured the patient and their family they had the necessary resources for excellent care.
