While I was waiting for my daughter's medicine in the hospital pharmacy, a nurse passed by me and my 3-year-old daughter. She touched her to check my daughter's temperature and immediately assisted us back to the emergency room. She was rushing to get help for us and she ensured everything is communicated. I cannot imagine if I had gone home with my daughter's high fever. I tried to get her name, but she insisted that it is her job.
We were then moved to the observation room where a nurse took over. It was super busy in that area. This young nurse looked after my daughter. She was rushing to cool my daughter's temperature down. She was very attentive and caring. I could feel that she was sincere and really wanted to help us. She updated us on what she was doing. She calmed both me and my daughter and followed up on everything we needed as we were there all night. And then finally, all the tests were done and we saw the doctor. She didn't forget to wish my daughter a speedy recovery.
Spending time in the hospital's emergency room was very agitating but at the same time, I could see that all the staff was working very hard.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank them especially for the nurse who assisted us. For her, it might be just part of her job, but she really touched my heart. Thank you and all the best.
