Sue was the charge nurse during our two-day stay in the Mother Baby Unit. We were very lucky to have her for two shifts. She had such a calming presence and made sure we had everything we needed. I was always happy to see her and it was actually very hard to say goodbye. After we were discharged, we had to come back to ER the next day to do some tests for jaundice. It was Christmas Eve and we were exhausted. The following morning, our baby still hadn't peed, so we had to return to ER on Christmas and wait all day for test results. Finally, the results told us we needed to get re-admitted to treat our baby with phototherapy. They said they weren't sure which part of the hospital would take us, but I was hoping it would be the mother-baby unit because we had such a positive experience there and it was familiar to us. After some time, we found out that Sue gave them the green light to send us there and she even made sure we took one of the best rooms she had available. It was such a long and tiring night, but we were so happy to see a familiar face and having some extra space was a dream. I'll never forget the special service and attention she gave us. We were so lucky to have met her.
