I have worked with Sue Ramaglia for 24 years of her 33+ years and during that time she has consistently demonstrated compassion and caring toward her patients far beyond her job description. She regularly receives feedback from patients that she was awesome at caring for them while in the hospital and she really took the time to meet their needs and listen to them. She is still in touch with many patients that she cared for years ago! She is an encouragement to her co-workers and she is the only nurse that I have ever worked with on this floor that still gets so excited about taking care of burned patients after all of these years. She is very deserving of the DAISY Award.

Sue has been an RN for over 30 years on the Burn Unit, both in the ICU and on 8eh. She is a very caring and compassionate person. She consistently extends herself for her patients and their families. She is extremely knowledgeable regarding burns and the often difficult road to recovery many of her patients face. She is a great teacher and does an outstanding job of preparing her patients, both while in the hospital and when discharging. I nominate Sue Ramaglia for the DAISY Award.
