This patient was here several days for a demise and Sue was able to care for her a large part of her time here. Over that time, with the continued care by Sue, this patient was able to bond with Sue. Sue cared for this patient in a meaningful and caring way that helped this family through a very difficult, memorable time. Sue walked the halls with them, she spent time with them, and left them with the gratitude that comes with the compassionate care only a dedicated nurse can give. Often, patients remember their labor nurses but when it is a demise, being able to write the note this patient did speaks to the special care she received.
