August 4th was the worst day of my entire life. My husband's boss called in the morning to say that my husband was not as work yet. This was concerning because he is always early for work. By lunch I spoke with my boss again and it was confirmed that my husband never made it to work. I assumed the worst, I had an awful feeling that he was in an accident. He had left his phone at home and there was no easy way to find him. I began calling police stations and hospitals to see if there was an accident involving a Volvo. Almost 2 hours and many phone calls later, I still had no idea where he was. I was completely hysterical and could barely speak. There is no way to explain the agonizing pain I felt not knowing if my husband was dead or alive. That agonizing pain was subsided when I received a call from Tobias George.

I will never forget the moment he called me. The first thing I said was, "Please tell me he's alive." When Tobias answered, "Yes," I began weeping uncontrollably. He patiently waited for me to pull myself together. I asked him how he found me and it turned out he went through a lot to get a hold of me. Tobias went onto Facebook, found my husband and saw that he had a wife. Then he took the name of the company I worked for, Googled it, and got their contact information. Tobias then called my husband's company and a couple people later...received my contact information. Tobias went above and beyond and completely out of his way to find me.

When I asked him about it he said, "I just knew someone was looking for him." He was right and because of that, he made a very powerful impact. That day was terrifying to unimaginable degrees. Had it not been for Tobias George, I could have spent many more excruciating hours searching for my husband. I am grateful for his empathy and devotion.
