Tyler Coker had to spend most of the first night in my room. After delivering a baby via C-section three weeks earlier, I began to hemorrhage at home. My husband called 911 and when I arrived at the emergency room I was admitted overnight, where Tyler was my night nurse.
I had to have two blood transfusions that night and it was my first time. I could not hold back my fear, and I started to cry. Tyler was very calm and sweet and talked me through the whole process. As the night progressed, I would get nauseous due to the medicine I was taking. Tyler made certain that I had multiple containers to get sick into and that my bedpans were clean. He was continually checking on me throughout the night and keeping my husband informed. A few nights later when he was back on my floor he visited me, even though I was no longer his patient. This conveyed once again how compassionate Tyler is.

It was the day my mom had been worried about for weeks, her first day of chemotherapy. We came into the hospital feeling uncertain and nervous and left feeling comfortable about the next set of treatments, all because of Tyler. He went above and beyond by answering every question and helping my mom relax. His care and concern were truly appreciated.
