My observations are based on a medical professional career in surgical systems and tool design, and the direct experiences at Seton Main from 2006 to the present. Victoria played a key role in my wife's survival of 3 cancers (breast cancer stage 4, pancreatic cancer stage 4, and carcinoid cancer stage 4) multiple surgeries including Whipple and complete resection of the small intestine. Victoria was in direct care of my wife during most of these events and specifically the Whipple and resection. Once again, in June 2015, she helped us.

Victoria deserves the DAISY Award for more than one of these events. Victoria is unusually skilled and has a wonderful manner with patients. I perceive her as a humble but shining example of nursing at its best. To enumerate the list of "above the call of duty" actions she initiated while in her care would be understating.
