Wendy exemplifies a combination of professionalism and compassion when dealing with patients and their families. I have witnessed her dealing with some extremely challenging patients and family members which she seems to always handle with patience and grace. She is always ready to assist her co-workers and doesn't need to be asked, if she witnessed someone struggling with their assignment, she is the first to step in and volunteer to help. Wendy possesses a great deal of knowledge related to her field or work and if she doesn't have the answer on hand, she is honest and will work to find it and report back with it expediently. She is truly an asset to our department and during our managers leave of absence earlier this year, she could be depended upon to fill in as required without needing to be asked.
She has found her vocation. She does not hesitate to stay late to complete tasks she has started and is a mentor and great resource to newer members of our team. Wendy truly exemplifies compassion and professionalism along with a wealth of knowledge related to her chosen career.
