I feel so fortunate to have met Xio in the outpatient clinic at Craig Hospital. From the first day I met her, I knew she truly cared about her patients. That day, I was struggling with a particular health issue and as we were talking I began to cry with frustration. In an instant, Xio was on her feet to give me a hug and assured me that we were going to figure things out. She also promised to be available to me for follow-up over the phone in the few weeks after that appointment. She wanted to make sure that the remedies we talked about were working.

> My problems persisted and Xio has helped me through the entire journey. She has followed my progress through five surgeries, called me out of the blue just to see how I was doing, answered all of my phone messages when I needed new suggestions of what to do, and even took her break time from work to come visit me when I was at Swedish Hospital last month. I can't believe everything she has done for me.

> Whenever I need anything, I know I can count on Xio to help or at least direct me to the right person or information that I need. She is great at supporting patients not only physically, but mentally and emotionally through tough times. She knows how to listen and does not judge or make you feel uncomfortable with sharing personal information.
>
> I cannot think of another nurse who has given me more of her time and energy than Xio. She is a true example of a caring individual who is dedicated to the welfare of her patients.
