Cyndee’s nominator also chose to describe her excellence in nursing education through the following statement:
“Throughout my experience at Patty Hanks, Mrs. Castel has been an exemplary leader. I am not afraid to ask questions, whether it be in the clinical or classroom setting. She is always willing to help and really shows compassion for the students. Not only has she been great in the classroom, but she has also been inspiring to my personal walk and relationship with Jesus. When I first experienced Him, I was just busting as the seams to tell someone about it and she was there with open ears willing to hear everything I had to say! She has also pushed me further into my relationship by asking me to pray over tests and sometimes class. I would consider her a transformational leader because she is not stuck in her own ways that she tunes out the ideas or requests others bring to her. All in all, she has been a great leader and I appreciate everything she does for the sake of the future generations! Thank you! Keep fighting for what you believe and see the impact that it has on others around you whether you know it or not.â€Ã_
