Please remember that once you have been honored with The DAISY Award, you are always a DAISY Honoree. Even if you change organizations or roles, you are entitled to Honoree benefits throughout your career. Being a DAISY Honoree is a life-long designation.

Accessing Your DAISY Benefits

Please be sure you are registered with us. How do you know if you are registered? You can easily search for your name here, where you will find your Spotlight page. If it is not there, contact the DAISY Coordinator at the organization where you were honored. The DAISY Coordinator will confirm your award information and complete the registration process. Once you are registered, we will create your DAISY Spotlight page (see the example below) and send the link to the DAISY Coordinator, who will share it with you. If you are not sure who the DAISY Coordinator is, please contact us for assistance. Once registered, follow and connect with us on social media! We will post open/close dates for applicable benefits, reminders as well as announcements on any new benefits available to you as a DAISY Honoree.

Education: Reduced Tuition at Chamberlain University

Every DAISY Honoree is eligible to receive a reduced tuition rate at the Chamberlain University College of Nursing.

The DAISY Honoree Scholarship is available to nurses who have an active RN license in the U.S. or in a jurisdiction that is an Associate Member of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).

Chamberlain's DAISY Honoree Scholarship is designed to encourage continuing education in the nursing profession and, assuming Chamberlain's admission requirements are met, may be applied to their:

  • RN to BSN Online Degree Completion Option
  • RN-BSN to MSN Online Option
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Degree Program
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Degree Program
  • Graduate Certificate Program

All scholarships are exclusively administered by Chamberlain University. Additional requirements for all Chamberlain's scholarship programs apply. The application process requires verification of DAISY Honoree status so be prepared to provide a link to your page on our website or present your DAISY Award Certificate, dated and signed by your employer, upon request.

Certification: Reduced Rate from The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI)

DAISY Honorees are eligible to apply for or renew an ANCC certification at a special reduced DAISY rate. This one-time offer is easy to take advantage of when you are registered with DAISY and receive a promotional code. CCI is offering registered DAISY Honorees a $40 discount on your initial certification and recertification applications with them. The Healing Hands Conference Grant for DAISY Nurses (HHCG)

Medical Missions: DAISY Medical Mission Grants
You have demonstrated extraordinary compassion in your daily practice, and we encourage you to take your expertise and your heart to help care for the world's most under-served and vulnerable people.  From what we hear, you will feel tremendously rewarded by giving to others through mission experiences.

As an Honoree, you may apply for a medical mission grant. DAISY will reimburse up to $1500.00 of your direct costs when you participate in a medical mission. Grants are for upcoming mission trips. Funding is not available for mission trips already completed.
