My nursing team is very special to me. They took extra care of me when they advocated on my behalf by insisting that a physician order a particular test for me. The physician did not think it was necessary, but the nursing staff insisted and the test was ordered. My nursing team not only showed their competence but also their respect, integrity, and teamwork. I am very thankful for my nursing team and have a great deal of respect for them.
