This nursing staff is incredible. They have worked through many changes in a short amount of time. The staff has grown into one great mix with so many individually strong leadership skills. This staff is about developing each other, helping so many other ancillary staff members as well as cultivating new staff to reach a level of integrity that supersedes average. On a daily basis, the staff owns the opportunity to enhance and improve people's lives. Whether via patient care, comradeship, or within their own community. The mix of staff encourages above normal work ethics, learning mindsets, and mixes of people's nursing talents and intelligence to cultivate a sisterhood of professionals. One's that are utilized throughout the hospital for specialty needs. The nurses within this shift have built themselves into well respected, intelligent, hard-working team that is able to support each other to build on individual talents, devotion and present strong commitments to Mercy Iowa City as individuals and as a team of great nurses.
