Mercy 5 North Clinical Supervisors: Tiffany Davis, Mary Dunzweiler, Grace Pompey, and Shannon Smith - our 5 North Clinical Supervisors are the best! They are an amazing resource staff. They are all compassionate and despite all obstacles have persevered to help 5 North become a great place to work. Without these ladies and supporting staff, my 90-days returning to the hospital would have been a nightmare. They were all available every step of the way. They continue to shine and support us in every way.

I have been the Neurologist for a complex patient who receives treatment for an immune system disorder on a regular basis. There are many complex challenges to the care and a comprehensive approach is essential.
In addition to the 5N Team, I would like to acknowledge the engagement and superior work of the entire CMC-Mercy Team including Pharmacy, Lab and more.
The consistently extraordinary care of the 5N Team is notable. In the short time, I have been involved in the patient's care, several major clinical events have occurred including a life-threatening event at discharge recently. The event, while requiring an ICU admission, was handled excellently. The family has acknowledged on several occasions where the patient's life was saved due to nursing team care over the years. In addition to the expert technical care, the patient and family received extraordinary empathetic and comprehensive care.
