6B Nursing Team represented the best characteristics of a nurse over the past 2 years. They were resilient as they faced the COVID pandemic, head-on. Not just one surge, but 2 (at least). They became the experts, reading about evidence-based care and sharing this information with others. They were innovative in workflow, care provisions, and virtual family visits. They were steadfast in their belief that the 6B team could take this on together, they persisted through fear and many challenges, and all the while provided the highest level of compassionate care.
