My 94-year-old mom, B, was admitted to your hospital in January. I am her daughter, and I live in New York and was unable to make it to the hospital before her passing. Her admittance to the hospital was not expected and took me by surprise. Felicia Morris kept in touch with me throughout the day. Felicia kept me updated on my mom's condition. When we were told that she was in grave condition, I went into a panic. I wouldn't be able to see or say farewell to my mom. I called the nurses' station and Felicia was kind enough to bring the phone to my mom and I was able to tell my mom I loved her while Felicia held the phone to her ear. This brought much comfort to me. My mom passed a few hours later. 

I spoke to Felicia, Kristen, and Georgina later that evening, and they told me how my mom's day had gone. Felicia, Kristen, and Georgina took such wonderful care of my mom. I was told how my mom enjoyed her pancake breakfast and how they massaged her back, which was one of my mom's favorite things. They did all they could to make her comfortable. My mom passed without her family by her side but after speaking to Felicia and knowing that Felicia, Kristen, and Georgina were by her side was the most comforting alternative other than if family were there than I could have hoped for. These nurses went above and beyond! 

I wanted to let you know how very special Felicia, Kristen, and Georgina are to me and to your hospital. They really care! They went way above their job description. I wanted to let you know how I will never forget the kindness they showed me during one of my most difficult days. I'm very blessed to have been given the gift of closure from them.
