My grandmother was admitted into the hospital and after a lengthy number of tests, transfers, and procedures, she was admitted to 4 South with feelings of giving up. Aaron Haggenjos was assigned to her and I told him the situation and background story. Aaron provided exceptional care every time he was assigned to her. My grandmother's spirits were lifted every day he worked. She ended up requiring dialysis and had extreme anxiety about it.
On several occasions, Aaron went to the dialysis unit to sit with her and help her relax. My grandmother was discharged to a local extended care facility and would explain to the staff there about how wonderful Aaron was. She could not praise him enough. I was to formally thank him for the excellent care and going above and beyond. He is a great nurse and provides the highest-level patient care.
