Aaron Hooker was the most caring, compassionate, open minded and attentive nurse I have had in a very long time. He advocated thoroughly for me in what has been one of the most difficult and painful times I have ever had with a medical issue in the past decade. Throughout this very intimidating process, Aaron took the time to explain everything at a pace I could understand, while keeping my wife informed who was unable to be with me, allowing us both peace of mind. Though it was a great struggle to get my pain under control and find any kind of solution to the problem in which I was facing, Aaron was there by my side at every turn. He communicated everything I needed to the doctors and ensured I had everything and more that I needed at all times. I am not sure I could have handled this ordeal as well as I did if he had not been my nurse. Especially as with the emergency room, all staff have many patients constantly rotating in, out and all around, and no matter what, if he was busy, he made sure to have nurses provide the same excellent care -- compassionate, advocating and helpful as he was. Coming from someone who has lived their entire adult life in and out of the doctors' offices and hospitals, I have met and worked with a multitude of medical staff who have been extremely helpful and supportive; however, Aaron I will never forget.
