First, I would like to say LeConte Medical Center ER was exceptional! I brought my sister to the ER at 1 AM. She was a cancer patient and in severe pain after surgery. She was put in ICU. All the family was with her and Aaron, her nurse all night, was awesome! I've never seen a nurse so compassionate towards my sister and her family. There are not enough words to say thanks to Aaron. He got us water, coffee, and in early morning hours even warm blankets. He brought a sofa to us. We are a big family. I'm the oldest of 10, and my sister was #8 in birth order. Most ICUs are limited to 2 patients and for a limited time. We appreciated all the care for my sister and her family. I left my phone at my sister's house and was taken to the reception desk to use the phone to call her son and the rest of the family in Kentucky. Thanks again! Aaron did not leave at 7 AM. He was still there after she passed and came to give all the family hugs as we left around 9 AM. I was in shock after those 3 days, as I was not expecting her to go so fast. Thank you, Aaron, with all my heart!
