Aaron's calm demeanor and clear communication were instrumental in efficiently managing the crisis.
I witnessed Aaron Nelson, RN, demonstrate extraordinary professionalism and compassion during a critical situation in the PACU. When a patient experienced an unexpected placental abruption and fetal demise that required the insertion of an IJC, Aaron immediately stepped in to support his colleagues. He coordinated effectively with the team, ensuring that the patient received prompt and appropriate care.
Aaron's calm demeanor and clear communication were instrumental in efficiently managing the crisis. He provided not only clinical expertise but also emotional support to both the patient and the nursing staff. His actions exemplify the highest standards of nursing care and teamwork.
Aaron's dedication to patient safety and his unwavering support for his colleagues make him a deserving recipient of the DAISY Award. His commitment to excellence in nursing is truly inspiring.

Aaron went above and beyond to help us with a patient who was in critical condition, even though the patient was not assigned to him or his unit. He helped us transfuse blood products rapidly, as well as helped us stabilize her after her central line placement. The overall well-being of the patient was affected by Aaron's willingness to help us and the patient in a stressful and emergent situation.
Aaron consistently maintains a good attitude when transferring patients from the PACU to the FBC. We appreciate him, his positivity, and willingness to help, and we are thankful to have him on staff at SEH!
