Aaron, I wanted to officially thank you for the work that you did helping Mr. X. I saw the look of worry on his face trying to figure out how he was going to get to Wilmington and pay for his personal belongings. You went above and beyond and labored tirelessly calling case management. Your kindness, concern, and compassion showed as you even contemplated paying his baggage fees out of your pocket. The look of joy and gratitude on the patient's face when I told him Novant Health got him a ride straight to Wilmington was priceless. You did not have to but you certainly went above and beyond. It did my heart good to see someone else care about this patient. This event will forever be imprinted on my heart as a reminder of why I have chosen to be a part of the Novant Health family.
