Abbee is the perfect example of what the DAISY Award stands for. She provided my dad a great patient experience when he was recovering from a prostatectomy. I was hesitant to leave my dad's side until he was transferred to Abbee's care. She ensured my dad was comfortable and used assessment and critical thinking skills to wean him from the BiPAP. As a fellow nurse, it was comforting to know that my dad was in the hands of a knowledgeable and compassionate nurse.
