Abbi Harris, RN

I am a doula who supported a mom who wished to have an unmedicated birth. Abbi went above and beyond to make this patient feel seen, heard, and cared for. Abbi sat with my client and acknowledged that while some things on her birth plan had changed, she didn't have to give up everything she wanted, and encouraged her to keep going. Abbi stayed at the bedside, holding a monitor so that the baby stayed safe but also allowing the patient to freely move and cope the way she needed and wanted to. I've had numerous great experiences with my clients at LRH, but this experience with Abbi was exceptional. It was so obvious how much she cares about the moms and babies she is helping. She was a ray of sunshine and a breath of fresh air to the patient, and also to me as the support person. Thank you, Abbi!
