My mother-in-law entered the CHI St. Joseph ER late one evening, and it took us a little time to arrive to be with her. We were not there very long when Abbie entered the room, she was polite, smiling, and extremely genuine and caring. A true angel of mercy! This was apparent through her actions, along with her careful and calm demeanor while dealing with my mother-in-law's pain.
Abbie never faltered from her duties, she was there quickly anytime we called and would constantly check on us even though the ER was running over with patients; she kept us her priority! Abbie made sure we understood, in our terms what was happening, while answering all our questions.
So much knowledge, so professional. She was a breath of fresh air. We were thankful that God placed her with us; this was truly a time we needed her to enter our lives and go above and beyond her duties.
