My sister had come to the ICU floor due to an overdose and was put on a ventilator. During the time that my sister was in Abby’s care, Abby did everything that she could to make sure that my sister was comfortable. Whenever she would talk to my sister, Abby would speak to her calmly, and she always let my sister know what she was doing when she came to assess her. Though my sister was unable to communicate, Abby always showed her the utmost compassion and care. She also always made sure that I was doing okay and always answered my questions when I had them (which was a lot!). I appreciate the kindness and understanding that Abby showed my sister.
