I brought my 3-year-old son in for dental surgery, and he came back with oxygen at 83%, breathing not normal, and Abby got the nurse leader in there to listen to him. She called his doctor; she got the referral to St Louis. She did not leave his side.
She has called every day to check on him since. She got me into an ENT in the MOB for ear, nose, and throat. Every day, she is still trying to help my son, and I have never met a nurse who cares so much. She is really awesome and deserves this award.
