Abby was so caring with my special needs daughter. We were dealing with a very delicate situation. My child was having a termination. My daughter's mental state at 18 is that of a 7-year-old. Abby made her feel extremely safe and comfortable. She's Amazing.

Please see the nomination above. I know that sometimes the patients and families don't always add a lot of detail, so I did want to speak to this one a little.
This was a very emotionally challenging case for our whole team. Abby offered to care for this patient the 3 days she was with us. To say it took a toll on her emotionally is an understatement.
Abby displayed a tremendous amount of humility, compassion, and grace. She role-modeled the nursing oath and IUH values exquisitely! This was a very difficult situation for all involved. The fact that the parents took the time to write a nomination for Abby speaks volumes to the care she provided while they were here.
