Abby was truly amazing during and after the birth of our daughter. She arrived at my home at 2 am and was immediately by my side and making me feel calmer and more confident and more comfortable. We never once had to state our preferences as she made sure she had read our birth plan as soon as she arrived. Abby's reassuring presence was brilliant, when I lost a lot of blood after the birth she calmly explained my options and didn’t put any pressure on me to do anything I wasn’t comfortable with. She made me feel at ease when doing the stitches and checks after the birth, Abby was professional but relaxed enough to make me laugh! In the days after the birth, we had some questions and worries about our baby. Abby went out of her way to help us both on the phone and in person, always in a really personable way, somehow we never felt like we were a burden or calling her too much.
