Abby Hunt, LPN

As a Vietnam-Era Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-1975, I started going to the VA for my healthcare in 2014 and currently go to my local VA Clinic in Pembroke, NC where I found and met Ms. Hunt. She has been my main contact at the clinic, and I am able to email her to make sure my labs and medications have been ordered. I must say that Abby is proficient in her job and 100% of the time she gets back to me with answers to any concerns that I have within two business days or less.

There have been several times I have had to go to the VA Urgent Care at the main hospital and as soon as Abby receives a report of my visit, she calls immediately to find out if there is anything that I need. Abby’s kind demeanor and cheerful attitude that she displays every time that I go to my local VA Clinic shows me the concern and care that she has in performing her job as a nurse every day. Abby overshadows all negativity about health care with her positive attitude and compassion for the Veterans. Abby has truly been my lifeline.
