I had Abby as a labor and delivery nurse at the delivery of my son, and she was absolutely phenomenal! My son started showing abnormalities on the cardiac fetal monitoring, and she knew just what to do. She alerted the doctor in charge and then adjusted me into positions to hasten our delivery in a safe fashion. She was so calm and at ease during what could have been a very difficult, potentially life-threatening situation. He was born with the cord over his shoulder, causing these issues, but he was delivered safely in her hands. I had no tearing with a safe and happy momma and baby - all thanks to Abby! I know that I could have been a difficult patient as a medical professional myself - I know enough to be dangerous and prone to panic with health issues of my own. She kept me at ease and knew just what to do. Abby is phenomenal!

If I ever were to have another baby - could I put in a request? She is a gem and a treasure to have here at Mount Nittany. Kudos to Abby!
